The Association is nearing the end the process of putting its archive of back issues of the Journal online.  This is still work in progress but nearly all copies have been uploaded and linked below.  Where feasible, contact details, precise locations, certain instruments etc. have been redacted for confidentialitiy reasons.  With the exception of those redacted fields (and some redacted pages), text has been "OCR'ed" (using optical character recognition to link the scanned images to searchable text).  The reproduction quality of some articles in the middle of the run may be improved in due course and a few gaps will be filled.  

Articles are indexed: the indexes currently cover the periods from 1977 to 2020 and are divided into three sections.  It is our intention in due course to compile these into a more user-friendly form and update them with the most recent editions, but that will take a lot of time and effort!

This Archive has been made available through the generosity of members, not least our former Editor, the late Dr Terry Broadbent, who with his late wife Marguerite wrote many of the music history articles contained within it.  This Archive is therefore dedicated to the memory of Terry and Marguerite.
